The Twisted True Story Of Hannah Barker (warning - May be upsetting to some readers)

I recently read about Hannah Barker, a 22 years old from Natchitoches, Lousiana, who told police on the 17th of July 2018 that strangers had kidnapped her 6 month old baby Levi Cole Ellerbe after pounding on her door then spraying her in the face with a chemical which she said she believed to be mace.
The baby was found soon after, when a fire was reported near railroad tracks. The fire turned out to be the burnt body of the baby.
Originally 25 year old Felicia Marie Smith was arrested on a first degree murder charge. Apperently she had a lesbian relationship with hannah but hannah claims she used felicia for money and attention. Based on her many public Facebook posts that's not hard to believe.
Apparently she asked her 'girlfriend' to kill her baby because she found it hard being a single mother trying to find babysitters so she could work.  If it was really that hard could she not have given the child up for adoption?!?!?

Plus I'm sure the kids dad would have happily taken the kid from her if she'd told him she couldn't cope!

Also, she apparently had drug problems in the past and posted this picture saying she's living proof that recovery works. Clearly she's only living proof that she's a total psycho.

Now both Hannah Barker and her girlfriend have been arrested and denied bond so they'll be in jail until the trial and i think its quite safe to say they'll be staying there for a loooooooooong time after they actually go to trial.

I find it hard to get my head around the fact she could do something like this. She seemed to have goals in life, intending to go to college and get a good job and apparently even claimed shortly before the baby was killed that she found it hard looking after the baby and trying to work, which would suggest she at least has some morals considering she did at least want to work rather than sponge off the government but how does that justify killing the child?!?!?

I'm so confused by this story, I'll never understand what she was thinking when she asked her girlfriend to set the little boy on fire! Some people make me feel so insanely sick!

This post is extremely depressing so I'll try to come up with a more pleasant topic for my next post =)
